Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truss Builder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and constructing trusses used in residential and commercial building projects. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes, proficiency with various tools and equipment, and experience in construction or manufacturing environments. The Truss Builder will contribute to the efficient production of high-quality trusses, ensuring safety and precision throughout the assembly process.
Responsibilities
Assemble trusses using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment according to specifications and blueprints
Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
Use machining and fabrication techniques to cut, shape, and join materials
Perform welding tasks to secure components during assembly
Conduct quality checks to ensure structural integrity and adherence to safety standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, power tools, and construction procedures
Assist in loading finished trusses onto trucks or storage areas for delivery or storage purposes
Skills
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, and warehouse machinery
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machining processes
Strong assembly skills with attention to detail for precise construction work
Construction experience or background in manufacturing environments preferred
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in a warehouse or construction setting
Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation, welding, and construction practices
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a rapid-paced setting

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
