We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Valve Technician to join our growing team.

Position Summary

The Valve Technician is responsible for inspecting, disassembling, repairing, assembling, testing, and documenting a wide variety of industrial valves. The successful candidate will work in a shop environment while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, and repair gate, globe, ball, butterfly, and check valves control valves.
Disassemble, clean, inspect, and measure valve components for wear or damage.
Perform lapping, machining preparation, and component replacement as required.
Assemble valves according to manufacturer specifications and company procedures.
Conduct hydrostatic, pneumatic, and functional testing.
Complete inspection reports, repair documentation,



and test records accurately.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, valve specifications, and work instructions.
Operate shop equipment, hand tools, lifting devices, and testing equipment safely.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all company safety policies and quality procedures.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist other departments when required.

Qualifications
Experience repairing industrial valves is preferred.
Mechanical aptitude with experience using precision measuring instruments.
Ability to read technical drawings and repair procedures.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Robust communication and organizational skills.
Valid driver's license is an asset.
Forklift and overhead crane experience is considered an asset.

Pay: $17.59-$25.00 per hour
