As a member of the Liberty team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records while delivering outstanding customer service to our small business and individual clients.

Bookkeeper duties include:
Providing first-rate customer service by striving to make every client a raving fan of our business
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgers
Recording financial transactions and reconciling bank and credit card statements
Preparing monthly, quarterly,



and year-end financial reports as required
Ensuring accuracy, organization, and compliance with bookkeeping standards and deadlines
Maintaining client confidentiality and privacy at all times
Assisting with collaboration between bookkeeping and tax preparation services
Supporting local marketing efforts and business growth as needed
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Prior bookkeeping or accounting experience required; tax experience is an asset
Proficiency with bookkeeping software (XERO) and comfortable working with computers
Solid attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Friendly, professional, and client-focused attitude
