Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier/Customer Service Associate to join our retail team. This role involves providing exceptional service to customers, managing transactions accurately, and creating a welcoming shopping workplace. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be organized, and have a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences. Duties
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases
Operate POS systems efficiently to process transactions, returns, and exchanges
Handle cash, credit, and digital payments accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures
Provide product information and demonstrations as needed, including technical sales and upselling prospects
Maintain merchandising displays and ensure the sales floor is organized and inviting
Answer customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
Promote store promotions, new products, and special offers to enhance sales opportunities
Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment when required




Ensure compliance with store policies and safety procedures at all times

Experience
Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities such as Spanish or other languages are a plus
Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing
Experience with merchandising, product demos, or technical sales is advantageous
Demonstrated ability to upsell products and provide excellent customer service
Organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
