We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to join our clients agile warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling the movement, storage, and organization of goods within the warehouse environment. Your expertise in operating various types of forklifts and related equipment will ensure smooth logistics operations, accurate order fulfillment, and safe work practices. Responsibilities
Operate forklifts, including counterbalance and clamp trucks, to load, unload, and transport materials across the warehouse
Utilize order pickers to accurately select items for shipment or inventory replenishment
Perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently to move bulky or heavy products
Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements and update stock records in real time
Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs
Assist with order picking processes by accurately selecting products according to order specifications
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Skills
Proven experience with warehouse distribution operations and forklift driving
Ability to operate clamp trucks and other specialized material handling equipment with precision
Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic maintenance checks
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing
Robust understanding of basic math for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities during order picking
Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking
Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory management
