Overview
We have lots of upcoming work in the city of Saint John and surrounding areas for Industrial, Commerical and Residential Electrical work. We will be requiring Journeyman Electricians who live in the area. As a union electrician you will be able to work for many unionized contractors, complete with all of the benefits the union provides. Very competitive wages, vacation pay, pension and perks. Please note the wage posted in the minimum hourly wage, actual full package wage is significantly higher when including vacation pay, pension and benefits.

Duties
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
Work with low voltage systems, including security alarms, telecommunications, and data networks.




Renovate existing electrical installations to meet updated codes or customer specifications.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using logic controllers and other diagnostic tools.
Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within specifications.
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local codes, safety regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications
Red Seal CofQ in the Construction Electrician trade.
Up-to-date Electrical license.
