Overview

Main duties are to make breakfast bun on the run's, pizzas, sandwiches and salads. Early morning hours. West Saanich location. $22/hr + approx. $6/tips /hr

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our agile team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates efficiently and that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.

Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food handling practices.
Independent work; multitasking and organization
Ensure all food safety guidelines are followed to maintain high standards of hygiene.
Collaborate with front of house staff to ensure timely meal service.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.




Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setup and breakdown of workstations.

Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Strong skills in food preparation and cooking techniques.
Food safe certification.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with front of house staff and commissary kitchen staff.
