Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and offer expert advice on pet products, supplies, and accessories
Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits of various items, enhancing customer engagement
Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
Assist with merchandising efforts to keep shelves organized, well-stocked, and visually appealing
Upsell complementary products by understanding customer needs and recommending suitable options
Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting remote customers




Ensure customer satisfaction through attentive service, quick problem resolution, and friendly communication
Support inventory management by tracking stock levels and assisting with restocking efforts

Experience
Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in a pet or specialty store environment
Technical sales experience with product demos or explaining features to customers is highly valued
Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
Robust communication skills with the ability to clearly convey product information and advantages
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing POS systems
Demonstrated organizational skills to keep work areas tidy and stock levels maintained
Ability to manage time effectively in a quick-paced setting while providing exceptional customer service
