Overview
Our office in Toronto requires an RDH for a steady Thursday. Other days may be available as well. It is an established general practice with 5 operatories, and is focused on preventive dentistry. Experience is preferred, but we will be glad to review all, and any, applications. Our office is near Yonge and Bloor, so if you are taking the subway it will be convenient to get to from either line. I look forward to talking with you!

Duties
Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
Assist with patient examinations and record keeping using dental software such as Dentrix
Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure comprehensive patient care
Manage patient appointments, follow-up care, and treatment plans
Support pediatric patients and adapt communication to ensure comfort and understanding
Maintain a clean, sterile,



and organized clinical setting
Provide customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns professionally

Requirements
Valid Dental Hygienist license in the province of practice
Experience with ABELDENT or similar dental management software preferred
Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures beneficial
Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations
Previous experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable
Solid understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry
Excellent customer service skills with a caring approach toward patients
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Experience in dental assisting is advantageous but not required

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
