Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Worker to provide a protected, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. This role is part time and on-call and involves supporting children's developmental needs through attentive caregiving, educational activities, and fostering positive interactions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of early childhood education principles.

Duties
Supervise and monitor children during various activities, ensuring their safety at all times
Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and recreational activities to promote learning and development
Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap schedules, and hygiene practices
Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages social skills, independence, and emotional growth
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns




Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom or play area in accordance with health and safety standards

Requirements
Prior classroom experience or working with children preferred
Robust teaching abilities and knowledge of early childhood education best practices
Compassionate caregiving skills with patience and understanding
Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and needs
Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and team members
Certification in CPR/First Aid
