Journeyperson Ironworkers

To work at our Air Product Field Project in the Edmonton, AB.
EMPLOYEE SALARY: $52.00
DSP SALARY: $72.44
HOURS PER DAY: 10 Mon - Thurs, 8 Friday
OVERTIME: After 8 hours a day
SHIFT: 5&2
START DATE: ASAP
PAY SCHEDULE: Weekly Pay (Friday)
WORK SCOPE: Equipment setting, Structural Steel, Grout Work

Requirements:
Must be local, no LOA or accommodations provided
Must have a valid Journeyperson or Apprenticeship Ironworkers ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
Must have experience working at heights
Must be willing to attend safety training (paid by WorleyCord): CSTS, H2S, WHMIS2015, EWP, Fall Protection, Confined Space
Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
Strong communication skills written and verbal
Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions

Responsibilities:
Ornamental work and pre-cast structures on a variety of projects
Studies blueprints,



drawing and specifications to determine the lay out of work
Position steel units, align holes and insert temporary bolts while checking alignments and joining steel parts using straightforward torque and hand wrenches
Rigging - Attach cables from a crane and direct crane operators with hand signals and/or radio
Unload and stack steel units so each piece can be hoisted as needed
Know, understand, and operate grinders safely in accordance with protected work practices and procedures
Ability to recognize spool hoisting point and utilize proper rigging techniques and signals while working in a fast-paced environment
May perform other duties as assigned

Pay: Up to $72.44 per hour
