POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are currently looking for a resident superintendent in downtown Montreal, full time and on call for emergencies. Are you said to be a versatile person, agile with your hands and with a keen sense of organization? You are the person we need! A member of the maintenance department team, the resident superintendent has the main function of ensuring the general maintenance of the building.

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Able to change water heaters
Able to lay floating floor
All other related tasks
Apartment cleaning
Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of the premises
Garage maintenance and cleaning
Knowledge of fire safety rules
Knowledge of plumbing and electricity
Knowledge of ventilation system
Maintenance and cleaning of common areas
Preparation of vacant accommodation / turnover




See to the maintenance and monitoring of equipment and mechanical systems

Construction
Actively participate in various company committees - Know and apply company policies and procedures
Transparent and salt the entrances
Communicate the maintenance needs for materials and products and upkeep of the building to the immediate superior
Make service calls
Minor repairs in apartments and common areas (plaster, paint, change lights, various installations, etc.)
Organise or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superior
Preventive maintenance on equipment
Remove snow and ice on sidewalks

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
A DEP in general builing maintenance (as asset)
A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience
Customer service experience an asset
Has tools
