We are currently recruiting for a few Personal Support Workers to assist a private male employer, with Quadriplegia, with all activities of daily living.

The employer is looking for someone who can support with duties such as bowel care, showering, and dressing.

Location:
Port Moody (Near Community Ventures Society)

Shifts & Hours of Work:
Tuesday and Wednesday: 9:30am to 2:30pm

Compensation:
$23.00 per hour, increased to $23.50 per hour after probation

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):
Daily personal care such as showering, dressing, bowel care,
Condom Catheter care
Range of Motion exercises
Assistance with transfers with the use of a ceiling lift
Light housekeeping, such as assisting with laundry and help with errands
Meal preparation

Required Qualifications:
No use of heavy perfumes or creams
Non-smoker/Non-vaper
Caregiving experience an asset
Fully vaccinated
Driver’s License (Class 5) an asset
Physically fit to assist, especially when it comes to supporting the client while bathing
