We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Technologist-Xray to join our healthcare team. This role requires a solid understanding of medical terminology, excellent technical skills, and a commitment to patient care and safety. The Technologist-Xray will work closely with medical staff to ensure accurate imaging results while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient interactions.
Responsibilities
Prepare patients for X-ray procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly to obtain optimal images
Operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
Ensure all images are of high quality for accurate diagnosis, making adjustments as necessary
Maintain detailed records of procedures performed and patient information in compliance with privacy laws
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and proper functioning of imaging equipment
Follow infection control protocols and ensure patient comfort throughout procedures
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and provide support as needed.
Experience
1 year Canadian experience working as an X-ray technologist after finishing the college here in Canada.
Robust technical skills with proficiency in operating X-ray equipment and related imaging tools.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
Pay: $39.00-$41.00 per hour
