Glen Hill Terrace is currently seeking compassionate and reliable Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join our team on a casual basis. This role is ideal for individuals who are committed to delivering high-quality care and value flexibility in their work schedule.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) and/or Registered Nurse (RN), the PSW provides direct personal care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans, organizational policies, and established standards of practice.

Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
Follow and contribute to resident care plans, reporting any changes in condition to the nursing team
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
Support residents’ participation in recreational and therapeutic activities
Ensure a protected, clean, and respectful setting for residents
Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team
Demonstrate strong customer service when interacting with residents, families, and visitors




Adhere to infection prevention & control, occupational health & safety, and Ministry of Long-Term Care requirements

Qualifications
Certificate as a Personal Support Worker from a recognized educational institution
Previous experience in long-term care preferred
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills and ability to complete electronic documentation
Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care

The successful candidate will be required to provide a current vulnerable sector screening, acceptable proof of compliance with the Glen Hill Terrace's Coronavirus Immunization Policy, as well as the 2-step TB test or Chest X-ray, in compliance with the Ministry of Long-Term Care

Pay: $24.29-$26.48 per hour
