Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a professional manner
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions, returns, and exchanges
Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and other payment methods with precision and integrity
Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure products are correctly priced and stocked
Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales goals
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly,
and ensuring a positive shopping experience
Manage time efficiently during busy periods to minimize wait times and keep checkout lines moving smoothly
Qualifications
Previous cashiering experience, including with produce, required
Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and product presentation
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining professionalism
Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
Good phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse customers
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
