We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Courier to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely picking up and delivering packages, documents, and other items in a timely manner while providing excellent customer service. This role requires solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
Pick up and deliver packages according to assigned routes and schedules.
Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, safely, and on time.
Verify delivery information and obtain signatures or proof of delivery when required.
Load, unload, and handle packages with care to prevent damage.
Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity.
Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly.
Maintain accurate delivery records using mobile devices or company systems.
Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery status, delays, or issues.
Follow all traffic laws, company policies,
and safety procedures.
Provide courteous and skilled customer service during pickups and deliveries.
Qualifications
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Previous courier, delivery, or driving experience preferred but not required.
Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
Robust time management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Comfortable using GPS navigation and mobile applications.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of local roads and delivery routes.
Experience using handheld scanners or delivery management software.
