Position Background:
The Project Coordinator provides project support to the Project Management team. This position works closely with Project Managers to prepare action plans and perform various coordinating tasks such as scheduling, maintaining documentation, performing administrative duties, etc. A Project Coordinator may be required to solely manage a project on their own.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Assemble job binders when a current project starts and disassemble upon completion
Communicate project details as required
Create travel and accommodation arrangements for field employees
Ensure employees are up to date on required drug and alcohol tests, mask fits and other occupational health requirements
Maintain all site invoicing requirements as directed by the Project Manager
Manage the resources to stay on schedule and/or monitor the deliverables
Support Project Managers in the preparation of reports and site mobilization requirements
Closely monitor job schedules and budget
Provide accrual and forecast reports to client when requested
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum 2 year of administrative experience
Minimum 2 year of project coordinator experience
High school diploma/GED
Fluent in English
Able to deal with the public in a positive courteous and respectful manner
Able to handle multiple tasks and frequent demanding deadlines
Ability to work independently or as a part of team
