Staffmax is helping our client hire a Swamper to assist in their cold storage facility for a 3-month contract.
This role involves manual material handling in a refrigerated workplace.
Its ideal for individuals who are physically fit and comfortable working in cooler temperatures.
Contract Length: 3 Months Location: Calgary, AB Key Responsibilities: Assist drivers with loading/unloading goods in and out of cold storage Move boxes and containers using dollies or hand trucks Verify product counts and condition during transfers Work in refrigerated areas for extended periods (0 to 4C) Keep aisles and loading areas clean and organized Report damaged or missing items to supervisors Adhere to all health and safety procedures Requirements: Experience in warehouse or swamper roles preferred Comfortable working in cold settings Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive motions CSA-certified steel-toe boots and warm layers required Dependable and able to follow instructions If you are hardworking and want reliable, steady employment in a warehouse setting, this is an excellent fit.
