Join us on event day in your local community. You can choose a specific role and shift(s) based on availability.

Description

The Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure is a 5k or 1k walk or run.

This year’s event will be taking place on Sunday, October 4th, 2026.

Tasks for this role include:
A versatile role open to individuals of all abilities
Some roles may require standing for long periods of time and ability to lift 10lbs
Excellent for those who want to volunteer but aren’t sure which role to choose
Tasks may vary throughout the day, so bring a positive attitude and be ready to jump in wherever needed

Why we need you

Together, we are changing the future of breast cancer. By joining the CIBC Run for the Cure this year and uniting your community together for the breast cancer cause,



you are helping us ensure we can continue to fund ground-breaking breast cancer research and clinical trials. Thanks to these investments in research and clinical trials, approximately 90% of women will survive at least 5 years after a breast cancer diagnosis. By being a part of the CIBC Run for the Cure, you are helping us make tremendous progress!
