Schedule: Coverage shifts may include:
Morning: 3:15 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.
Afternoon: 11:15 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
Evening: 3:15 p.m. – 10:15 p.m.

TELUS Health is looking for Casual Fitness & Recreation Consultants to support a corporate Fitness & Recreation Centre in Cambridge, Ontario. This is an on-call position designed to provide coverage during team member vacations, absences, leaves, and periods requiring additional staffing support. Successful candidates will be added to a roster of qualified coverage staff and may be contacted to provide coverage for vacations, sick days, leaves of absence, special events, and periods of increased operational demand.

Key Responsibilities
Greet members in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner
Answer member questions and provide exceptional customer service
Monitor gym and member safety and ensure secure use of equipment
Conduct facility walkthroughs and maintain a clean, organized workplace




Provide equipment orientations and basic fitness guidance within scope of practice
Support fitness and recreation programming, events, and member engagement activities
Track facility usage and report maintenance, safety, or operational concerns
Assist with opening, closing, and day-to-day operations of the fitness and recreation centre

Qualifications
Degree or diploma in Kinesiology, Health Promotion, Fitness, Recreation, Workplace Wellness, or a related field
Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification
Current Personal Training certification
Group Exercise certification is considered an asset
