Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for applying paint and finishes to various surfaces, primarily within automotive or dealership environments. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, solid mechanical knowledge, and experience working with hand and power tools. The Painter will contribute to maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring customer satisfaction through expert surface finishing.

Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed
Apply primer, paint, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
Ensure even coverage and proper drying times for all coatings applied
Use hand tools and power tools to assist with surface preparation and finishing tasks
Perform minor repairs on surfaces prior to painting, including filling holes or cracks
Maintain a clean work environment by properly disposing of waste materials and cleaning tools after use
Follow safety protocols related to chemical handling, ventilation,



and personal protective equipment (PPE)
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards

Experience
Dealership experience or automotive repair background is highly desirable
Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle systems or surface preparation techniques preferred
Hands-on experience with hand tools such as sanders, scrapers, brushes, and masking tape
Familiarity with power tools used in painting or surface prep is a plus
Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for moving supplies or equipment
Prior mechanic experience or background in automotive finishing is advantageous but not required

Pay: $21.00-$30.00 per hour
