Join our agile legal team as an Experience Litigation Legal Assistant / Law Clerk and play a crucial role in supporting our Litigation Team. You must have at least 2 years experience in Ontario.

As a Legal Assistant / Law Clerk, you will assist lawyers in various legal tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow within the firm.

Responsibilities:
Assist in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and other correspondence. Ensuring all deadlines and limitations are diarized and met.
Maintain organized case files and documentation for easy retrieval
Handle phone calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
Proof read legal documents for accuracy and completeness
Schedule appointments, meetings, and court dates
Assist in interviewing clients and witnesses for case preparation
Utilize software for document management
Provide administrative support to lawyers as needed

Experience:
Proven experience in legal drafting and research




Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Proficiency in data entry and clerical tasks
Ability to proofread legal documents accurately
Familiarity with administrative tasks within a legal setting
Experience using ACL and Soluno is a plus
