Job Description Mainframe Developer COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS & Mainframe Modernization Skills Required: Tech Stack: IBM Mainframe, JCL, COBOL, SQL, DB2, Deep IMS knowledge, Endevor, File-AID, CA-7.

Tools: INSYNC, Jira, Confluence, Service

Now. AI Awareness: Should be AI aware with experience using Git

Hub Copilot and VSCode.

Designer Skills: Ability to independently analyze IMS Segments.

Create detailed designs.

Lead junior developers.

Participate in end-to-end field mapping.

Develop, unit test, and deploy code. DB2: Solid understanding of DB2 objects and processing.

Ability to independently analyze DB2 objects.

Soft Skills: Ability to work independently and learn in an workplace with limited mainframe experience.

Robust problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt and learn.

Nice to Have (Non-Mandatory): Knowledge of Kafka and RESTful APIs.
