Join Carewest's exceptional care team as a temporary part time Health Care Aide. This role focuses on client observation and support within the Rehabilitation and Community Transition Program in Calgary.
As a Health Care Aide, you will report directly to the Director of Care, working with the interprofessional health care team. This position emphasizes monitoring client status, administering medications, and maintaining empathy and professionalism.
Solid dedication to client-centered care is essential as you ensure optimal recovery and rehabilitation for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Observe and report changes in client condition
Administer prescribed medications accurately
Assist in lifting, transferring, and repositioning clients
Maintain skilled and ethical care standards
Perform related duties as needed
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent necessary
Must have Alberta Health Care Aide certification
Effective communication skills in English required
Physical capability for lifting and transferring clients
Previous health care experience is preferred
