In this full time role, you'll work a 40-hour week handling essential maintenance tasks in residential units. Responsibilities involve conducting inspections, making repairs to crucial systems, and collaborating with the Housing Manager for effective issue resolution.
You'll also guide tenants on their rights to foster a compliant living workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform thorough inspections of housing units annually
Schedule and oversee preventative maintenance
Repair plumbing, electrical, and heating systems
Engage in minor carpentry and renovation work
Compile monthly activity reports for management
Requirements:
Background in home maintenance or renovation work
Familiarity with plumbing and electrical systems
Robust organizational and communication skills
Must possess a valid Ontario Driver's License with personal vehicle
Required to pass Vulnerable Sector Security Clearance
