Our Toronto based client is seeking an experiencedSAP Cloud Identity Services (CIS) Architect Lead to join their project on a long term contract.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with SAP CISand project implementations in a lead architect capacity or related roles.

This will be a hybrid role.

Key Responsibilities: Own the end-to-end CIS target architecture and roadmap for a brownfield SAP utilities program, defining reference architectures, patterns, and non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, HA/DR).

Lead integration architecture across SAP IS-U/FI-CA, S/4HANA, CRM/CS (or Service Cloud), EAM, MDM/MDG, AMI/MDUS, payments, portals/IVR/CTIsetting API/event/data strategies, security, and compliance.

Define transition and coexistence architecture: legacy carve-out, phased rollout, data migration strategy, parallel bill, cutover waves,



and decommissioning to minimize business disruption.

Govern solution design across vendors/squads: chair design reviews/ARB, make architecture decisions, manage technical debt, ensure regulatory/privacy compliance, and align to enterprise standards.

Drive performance/volume testing strategy, observability/monitoring, resiliency, and robust error handling across billing, credit/collections, and customer service processes.

Engage senior stakeholders to manage risks/dependencies and guide delivery; require 10+ years utilities CIS architecture leadership with proven brownfield transformation experience.

Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
