Become a key part of the County of Simcoe's Program and Support Services as a Recreation Therapy Assistant. This role specializes in facilitating therapeutic programs that enhance residents' emotional and physical well-being.
In this position, you will support the Recreation Therapist by assisting in the delivery of engaging activities tailored to individual needs. Your responsibility will be to document resident participation, develop programming goals, and promote resident involvement in community activities.

Key Responsibilities:
Report resident progress to the Recreation Therapist
Develop and implement resident-specific activity plans
Document activities and track attendance accurately
Coordinate with volunteers for program execution
Facilitate recreation programs for residents actively
Requirements:
Post-secondary diploma or degree in related field
Minimum six months' LTC experience preferred
Food Handlers Certificate or willingness to obtain
Valid G class driver's license required
Robust interpersonal and communication skills
