Elevate client care as an Occupational Therapist I at the Camrose Seating Clinic, specializing in community assessments and B and C seating services. This role requires travel across Central Zone communities.
In this part time position, you will serve as a vital member of the health care team, providing evidence-informed solutions that address the diverse needs of clients. By taking on roles such as consultant, educator, and advocate, you will foster independence and enhance occupational performance among individuals and groups. Your collaboration with clients will be critical in developing and evaluating rehabilitation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and triage of clients
• Implement team-oriented goal setting and treatment plans
• Enhance community engagement through outreach services
• Support and supervise Therapy Assistants and students
• Promote quality improvement through teamwork
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists
• Completed AADL training for wheelchair authorization
• Must possess a driver’s license and vehicle
• Experience working in community health
