The Carpenter will report directly to the Site Superintendent and ensures adherence to local building codes and safety policies. Focusing on residential framing, this role includes oversight of subtrade work, performing touch-ups, and conducting quality inspections.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency with power tools and possess robust time management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to building code and safety requirements
Complete carpentry outside of subtrade work
Oversee and report on subtrade activities
Perform quality checks and inspections
Mentor novice workers in best practices
Requirements:
Experience in residential framing
Enrollment in a Carpentry apprenticeship as a 3rd or 4th year
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Valid driver's license and own vehicle
Attention to detail in quality standards
