Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead business analysis and Finance and Risk Data Platform migration initiatives using SAP Fioneer, IFRS/GAAP, ETL, APIs, and UAT ( Remote; AB-preferred ) [ -68 ] .

Overview: This role sits at the intersection of Risk modeling, Finance accounting, and IT implementation on a 15+ person program team translating complex regulatory and multi-GAAP requirements into functional specs, user stories, and traceable deliverables.

Must Haves: 7+ years as a Business Analyst, including on large, complex transformation programs Proven ability to translate between Risk models ( e.g., stochastics, PD/LGD ) and Finance/Accounting concepts ( double-entry accounting, trial balances, multi-GAAP / IFRS ) Experience leading stakeholder management at the Managing Director or VP level driving consensus, not just facilitating Strong command of BA methodology end-to-end: requirements gathering, workshops, user stories, functional specifications, UAT leadership Experience with data lineage, legacy data mapping,



or data archeology in a complex enterprise workplace Ability to manage multiple deliverables independently at pace in a transformational project workplace Nice to Have: Experience with SAP Fioneer, SAP Finance, or SAP-adjacent financial systems Familiarity with ETL, APIs, or JSON schemas (enough to write IT specs not a developer role) Background in financial services, banking, or capital markets settings Experience maintaining a requirements traceability matrix (RTM) in a regulated context Responsibilities: Lead business analysis activities including requirements planning, stakeholder interviews, and workshop facilitation Translate Risk model concepts into Finance journal entries and IT technical specifications Lead data archeology efforts to map legacy infrastructure and document Global Blueprints for multi-GAAP accounting rules Develop use cases, user stories, functional specs, and maintain an RTM throughout the program lifecycle Conduct gap and variance analysis between current and target state Guide and participate in UAT to validate system meets regulatory and business requirements Proactively identify and document risks including data lineage gaps, accounting event complexities, and non-functional requirements
