Take charge of infection prevention at Bingham Memorial Hospital and other MICs facilities as the Infection Prevention & Control Program Leader. This temporary full time role is crucial for maintaining high standards in infection control initiatives.
As a management-level position, you will report to the Chief Nursing Officer and lead key activities including surveillance and outbreak responses. You’ll also ensure compliance with health guidelines and policies while collaborating with Public Health and overseeing the Medical Device Reprocessing program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement infection control programs
• Lead surveillance activities and classroom support
• Manage outbreak identification and response efforts
• Oversee the Medical Device Reprocessing program
• Contribute to employee health initiatives
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years' RN experience in a hospital
• 3 years' managerial/supervisory RN experience preferred
• Solid understanding of PIDAC/PHO best practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Transparent criminal record check required
