Nova Pacific Environmental is seeking a Junior to Intermediate Environmental Technician passionate about conservation. In this role, you will conduct fish salvage, monitor excavation activities, and carry out species inventory and relocation. Your commitment to environmental stewardship will directly impact local ecosystems while working alongside experienced specialists in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct fish salvage using various techniques
• Identify and record salvaged fish species accurately
• Monitor stream excavation and conduct manual knotweed removal
• Maintain and organize field equipment regularly
• Communicate site activities with clients and team members
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in a relevant field
• Basic experience in fish and knotweed identification
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Ability to work both independently and in teams
• Willing to relocate to Chilliwack if needed
