ABOUT THE ROLE

You will own sub-domains of Glow's consumer lending platform, which powers device-finance programmes for multiple telco and retail partners. You define what gets built at the level engineers build from: API contracts, data models, calculation rules, and acceptance tests. You write the specs and ship outcomes that move the build.

This role blends product ownership with business analysis. You work with the Montreal engineering hub daily, partner with the platform architect and compliance SMEs, act as a conduit to product and client teams in Europe, and engage partner teams directly. You will work within a regulated financial services environment, balancing commercial outcomes, customer outcomes, risk, compliance and operational scalability.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Own lending sub-domains end to end, from origination and agreements to billing, collections and in-life servicing. Define what gets built, why, and when
- Write and maintain the specs as the source of truth for your sub-domains: API contracts (requests, responses, validation and error codes),



data definitions, and calculation rules with worked examples
- Write the acceptance criteria that define done: worked examples exact to the penny and the day, including the error cases
- Shape the data model with the platform architect: field-level definitions, gaps, and naming
- Partner with engineering on trade-offs. Be the product voice they trust for your area

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

- 3 or more years across product management, product ownership, or business analysis, including at least 2 delivering on lending, core banking, or loan management platforms
- Loan servicing depth: repayment schedules and amortisation, arrears and collections, in a regulated consumer credit environment
- You live in the detail. Comfortable defining field-level API contracts, data models, validation rules and acceptance criteria
- Absorb client and customer context fast. Shape the conversation, challenge the brief, and influence the outcome.
- Strong communicator across functions, locations and seniority. You can walk an engineer through a field-level rule and give an executive the one-line consequence
- Strong engineering literacy: you can read an API spec, hold your own with engineering, and are at home with up-to-date SaaS platforms
- AI fluency. You use AI tools in your own work
- English required; French is an asset
