Elevate community safety as a Wildland Urban Interface Response Program Coordinator with the Manitoba government. This full time position requires a blend of emergency management experience and effective operational planning.
In this role, you will report directly to the Deputy Fire Commissioner and will be integral in developing and evaluating emergency response systems. Your leadership will guide diverse teams across projects that impact public safety and policy implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning and evaluation of emergency response programs
Manage multi-dimensional response projects across various departments
Prepare operational plans and reports for stakeholders
Coordinate training sessions and evaluate their effectiveness
Foster relationships with key government and community partners
Requirements:
Prior experience in emergency services management
Structural or wildfire firefighter experience required
Familiarity with the Incident Command System (ICS)
Robust communication and organization skills
Valid Manitoba Class 5 driver's license
