In this full time role, you will join Planet's Legal organization, focusing on export/import laws and enhancing compliance measures. Your expertise will help integrate regulations into business strategies, ensuring legal adherence and reducing risks. The position involves liaising with various departments and external partners to support global trade operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interface with engineers and supply chain teams on compliance
• Manage DDTC and BIS licenses and authorizations
• Develop and enhance Planet’s export compliance program
• Analyze contract regulations and support legal guidance
• Mitigate compliance risks through collaboration
Requirements:
• 4+ years in international trade compliance
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• Solid analytical and negotiation skills
• Experience with ITAR and EAR regulations
• Solid communication and detail orientation
