Job Title: Hardware Vehicle Installation Technician ( 12v Technician) Summary: We are seeking technicians to install hardware/electronic devices (GPS Navigation, Satellite Radio, Alarm Systems, Full Range Audio Components CD/MP3/DVD/Video Game/Television receivers, factory and after-market vehicle speakers and Sub Woofers etc) into a wide range of vehicles (cars, trucks, tractors, etc).

Technicians will be responsible for: Doing recent and replacement installations and upgrades Troubleshooting previous/existing installations Handling general technical support of client issues Fill out installation time sheets and send in to Admin.





Other related duties as assigned After hours support and installations as needed Knowledge and Skill Requirements Must have an MECP Diploma or extensive 12v installation experience Must be familiar with electrical equipment mentioned above Must demonstrate understanding of basic electrical/wiring practices and principles Able to apply common sense Carry out instructions provided to you (in written, oral or diagram form) Ability to use trade tools and follow safety standards Able to trouble shoot issues over the phone with clients Productive at operating a Windows based Laptop and Desktop computer Familiarity with Modems and Wireless technology a Plus Correct use of soldering irons, pliers, wire cutters Explicit and accurate written and verbal English skills Excellent time management skills Working Conditions On site at client locations which will be a mix of both indoor and outdoor settings.
