Join Birch Mountain Enterprises (BME) as a Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician for on-road operations in Fort McKay. This role includes both shop and field repairs for heavy-duty trucks and is ideal for skilled technicians.
BME seeks qualified candidates with at least three years of heavy truck experience. Technicians will be responsible for repairing and replacing truck components, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining repair documentation. Candidates familiar with water, vac, and steam trucks will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Repair or replace defective parts on heavy trucks
• Install current parts per manufacturer specifications
• Test equipment for performance and compliance




• Complete required repair documentation accurately
• Maintain cleanliness of service area and equipment
Requirements:
• Certified Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician
• Minimum three years heavy truck experience
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract
• Robust knowledge of heavy truck systems
• OSSA certification preferred
