This permanent, full time role focuses on gathering and producing sports news for multiple platforms. You'll work closely with the Senior Digital Producer, Sports, crafting compelling stories for Le Téléjournal Ottawa-Gatineau and other broadcasts. Your creativity and expertise in video shooting and editing will be essential in bringing the region's sports stories to life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Gather and process sports news from local and national scenes
• Produce video content for digital and broadcast platforms
• Write engaging copy for various audiences
• Collaborate on news programs, including live segments
• Operate various cameras and equipment for high-quality output
Requirements:
• University degree or community college diploma in journalism
• Minimum three years of relevant journalism experience
• Solid reporting and video editing skills
• Solid command of French and valuable English knowledge
• Valid driver’s license and passport for travel
