NRSI is seeking a dedicated individual for monitoring activities related to wind energy facilities. This role is ideal for someone motivated to gain hands-on experience in wildlife identification and research. You'll conduct fieldwork that involves handling carcasses, documenting findings, and ensuring compliance with scientific methods.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct field monitoring for avian and bat species
• Take detailed field notes during monitoring
• Communicate frequently with project managers and team members
• Safely handle and record data on carcass findings
• Assist with various related field or office tasks
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education or high school diploma
• Valid driver’s license and over 21 years old
• Detail-oriented with solid communication skills
• Standard First Aid and CPR Certification
• Ability to work independently in diverse conditions
