As a Lawyer in the General Counsel Office at Miller Thomson, you will support the General Counsel with risk management and compliance policies. Key Responsibilities:
• Support the General Counsel with compliance and ethics issues
• Update risk-related Firm policies alongside the General Counsel
• Provide legal advice to management and leadership
• Conduct legal research on risk management and professional responsibility
• Review contracts and answer ethics questions from Firm members
Requirements:
• Licensed LLB/JD in good standing
• 5+ years of relevant Risk Management experience
• Bilingual in English and French
• Solid analytical and research skills
• Proficient in legal writing and computer skills
