Join Stantec’s Winnipeg Roadways & Highways team, seeking an experienced Roadway Design Engineer with 5–10 years of progressive experience. You will manage projects from planning to construction support, working with clients like Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure. This position emphasizes leadership in design while fostering client relationships and financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design for highways and urban roadways from planning to construction support
• Develop geometry and corridor models using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bentley ORD
• Prepare and review contract drawings, technical specifications, and engineering reports
• Manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, and financial performance
• Provide construction-phase support and contract administration on projects
Requirements:
• 5–10 years of transportation design experience in Canada
• P.Eng. registration or eligibility with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba
• Proficient in roadway design standards (MTI, TAC, AASHTO)
• Experience with Civil 3D and Bentley OpenRoads Designer
• Robust communication and proposal-writing skills
