This year’s Halifax SuperWalk is a major fundraiser for Parkinson Canada, organized to support advocacy and research efforts. As a SuperWalk Event Day Volunteer, you will collaborate with the Volunteer Event Coordinator, ensuring a highly successful event while promoting awareness about Parkinson's. Engage with your community and make a meaningful impact during this significant gathering.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with event set-up and take-down
• Manage participant registration and greet attendees
• Support food services and entertainment logistics
• Operate checkpoint stations and cheer on walkers
• Participate actively in SuperWalk activities
Requirements:
• Must be at least 12 years old to volunteer
• Experience in event support preferred but not required
• Enthusiasm for community engagement and wellness initiatives
• Availability on September 12, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM
• Ability to work as part of a team in various roles
