In this role, you'll be responsible for helping clients achieve personal goals while maintaining safety and dignity. You'll work collaboratively with families and community members, ensuring that each individual's voice is heard and respected. Effective communication and ongoing training are vital as you navigate the diverse needs of the people you support while adhering to established guidelines and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Promote protected and inclusive environments for individuals
• Collaborate with families for effective service delivery
• Advocate for individuals' rights and independence
• Train clients in essential life and community skills
• Monitor and report on client progress and needs
Requirements:
• Rehabilitation Diploma or equivalent education preferred
• Valid Alberta Driver's License and insured vehicle
• Robust communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks
• Positive, team-focused attitude
