We are partnering with a organization to appoint a Contract Project Manager to support a key client within the financial services sector. This is a 6 to 12 month contract position focused on delivering office and retail fit out projects within a banking workplace. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects end to end, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in line with client expectations.

Key responsibilities:

- Manage the full lifecycle of construction projects including planning, design coordination, procurement, and execution
- Oversee office and retail fit out projects across multiple locations
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and vendors
- Act as the main point of contact for client stakeholders
- Build strong working relationships and provide regular project updates
- Manage expectations and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Track project budgets, forecasts, and overall financial performance
- Review and approve project costs, change orders, and invoices




- Ensure cost control and value optimization throughout the project lifecycle
- Identify and mitigate project risks
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain proper documentation and reporting standards

Candidate profile:

- PMP certification is preferred.
- Proven experience managing construction projects, specifically office and retail fit outs
- Experience working within financial services or banking environments is preferred
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment
- Commercially astute with strong attention to detail
