Enhance public trust and engagement as a Communications Advisor with the Alberta Police Review Commission. Develop strategies that foster community relations and address diverse stakeholder needs.

As a Communications Advisor, you’ll report to the Senior Manager of Community Connections, focusing on effective messaging and media coordination. Your role supports the PRC's mission by creating impactful communication strategies and engaging with community partners to promote transparency in police oversight.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create and implement strategic communication plans
• Handle media releases, speeches, and social content
• Lead public event logistics and consultations
• Monitor and respond to media inquiries
• Mentor colleagues and support team objectives

Requirements:
• Degree in Communications or similar discipline
• At least 4 years in media relations strategy
• Experience with web-based communication tools
• Familiarity with access to information legislation
• Knowledge of Indigenous engagement practices

Utilize your expertise to shape Alberta’s public communication in law enforcement oversight.
