Become an integral part of the extrusion process as a Die Prep Operator. You'll clean, prepare, and deliver extrusion dies while supporting the production schedule at our facility.
Reporting to the Extrusion Department Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring clean dies are ready for production. Your tasks will involve assisting the Lead Operator and Shift Supervisor with line set-ups and various other activities. A solid attention to detail and reliability are essential in this role, along with effective communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean used extrusion dies thoroughly after production
• Prepare and build up dies for the next production run
• Deliver dies to meet production schedules accurately
• Operate machine shop tools to assist other machinists
• Follow all safety instructions and procedures
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of production experience preferred
• Robust mathematical skills required
• Detail-oriented with a positive attitude
• Excellent communication skills in English
