This Project Engineer role at Innophos entails executing diverse engineering projects aimed at enhancing manufacturing efficiency and sustainability. Your responsibilities will include estimating project costs, planning, and supervising contractors at the Port Maitland site. The role demands a solid understanding of chemical manufacturing processes, material balances, and the development of process metrics to elevate plant performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support to contractors and plant staff
• Manage development, implementation, and oversight of projects
• Conduct material balances, PFDs,
and P&IDs; for projects
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve process conditions
• Prepare project specifications and maintain updated P&IDs;
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in GMP or FDA settings
• Solid knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes
• Proven project management and budgeting skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
