Eaton, a leader in sustainable manufacturing, seeks a Mechanical Assembler for its Milton, Ontario facility. This hands-on role focuses on constructing large switchboard structures using power tools and following engineering schematics.
As a Mechanical Assembler, you will report to the Production Manager, requiring robust mechanical aptitude and experience with torque tools. Excellent communication in English and physical capability for heavy lifting are essential. You will directly impact the quality and efficiency of manufacturing operations while working in a diverse and inclusive setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build large switchboard structures using prefabricated metal parts
• Mount and brace components inside structures




• Use power saw and nail gun to construct custom skids
• Ensure appropriate hardware and torque application
• Inspect parts for conformance to quality standards
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• Minimum 12 months mechanical assembly experience
• Proficiency in using torque tools
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
• Must reside within 80 KM of Milton, ON
