The Senior Manager will lead the Product Control team within Capital Power’s Commodity Risk function, ensuring accurate P&L; reporting and compliance with internal controls. You will play a crucial role in driving enhancements to valuation workflows and mentoring team members for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily and month-end P&L; validation and production
• Lead commodity price curve review and independent verification
• Conduct P&L; attribution and analyze market activity impacts




• Ensure governance of valuation models and assumptions
• Support data-led automation for productive operations

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Economics
• 8+ years’ experience in Product Control within energy or commodities
• 3+ years of experience leading teams
• Proficient in ETRM systems and regulatory requirements
• Solid knowledge of SOX controls and audit support
